D.C.I. can adapt to a wide range of scale, scope, and budgets. Once an initial brief has been established, a proposal is provided.

D.C.I. can produce and manage:
Initial concepts for look and feel, which includes layouts and direction for interior elements and furnishings.
Detailed drawings, and budget breakdown.
Tender packages showing all interior works including materials, hardware, sanitary, lighting, and furnishings.
On-site Management, coordinating with all consultants and overseeing delivery, installation and completion of the project.
D.C.I. can also produce planning drawings, various licencing drawings and approvals as required.
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
The journey begins with an initial consultation focused on an exchange of ideas, needs, scope and aspirations, discussions about budget, and an explanation of our services and the stages of the process.
Upon instruction, a site survey can be carried out, then a design meeting is held to firm up the brief and budget.
DESIGN
Once the project scope has been agreed, a series of carefully designed presentations will be presented which will develop spatial, structural and architectural arrangements, samples, colours, lighting, furnishings, joinery and finishes.
Each element of the scheme is carefully curated, costed and presented for discussion. Full working drawings are prepared for the appointed consultants and trades.
This phase requires a large volume of design time and expertise, resulting in the project’s creative and technical detail.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT / PROCUREMENT
Subject to the extent of the project management role agreed, progress of the project is monitored and managed on site. Any issues that may arise in the course of the project are resolved in order to maintain quality, budget and programme.
D.C.I. can take on responsibility for procurement including liaising with UK-based and international suppliers alongside logistics companies. Orders and deliveries are programmed so that they arrive at the required time. This is a critical element of the project and has to be handled with expertise and care.
INSTALLATION, DRESSING AND SNAGGING
With construction and decoration completed, D.C.I. will coordinate the delivery and installation of furnishings including window treatments and carpets.
D.C.I. can curate artwork and home accessories at this stage, to create the finished look, or dressing the new interior with your existing treasures, to give each room your own personal touch.
Subject to the scope of our responsibility agreed at the start of the project, we will manage the snagging process to ensure that the project is fully delivered according to the specification and complete satisfaction of youself.
