Situated at the entrance to Television Centre, the building’s exterior is anything but a traditional pub. The Broadcaster uses this to its advantage through enormous windows which offer a portal into the building from the outside and allow the inside to be flooded with natural light.
In contrast to the exterior, stepping into the ground floor 70-seat bar and dining area, guests will be met by soft timber arches and a large pewter bar with green raven tiles, designed to evoke the feeling of a welcoming traditional pub, while maintaining a contemporary style.
The 60-seat first-floor dining room will continue the themes of green and pewter, to create a relaxed yet elevated atmosphere in which to dine and socialise, and an intimate private dining room will accommodate up to 20 for private events. A second floor and expansive rooftop terrace complete with retractable awnings and a garden oasis will open in 2022.
